The Little Torch - Heating/ Melting Tips Multiple orifice design gives you maximum melting power and increased versatility for melting platinum, gold, silver or bronze in crucible. 14-030 is to be used with oxygen and acetylene. Supplies 3000 BTU's for temperatures up to 6000°F (3315°C). 6" long and melts up to 3 oz. of metal. 14-031 is to be used with propane or natural gas at temperatures up to 5200°F (2871°C). Propane supplies 5000 BTU's, natural gas 2420 BTU's. 6" long and melts up to 5oz. of metal.
