Quicken Nanolube for Clock Makers apply as a pretreatment to protect gear train, escapement, springs and pivots. Smaller amounts are required for long term treatment with extended protection. Chemical lubricants break down over time. Nanolube never wears out, and once the small amount of synthetic carrier oil evaporates, the tiny NanoDiamond spheres remain and will protect treated parts from wear and provide superior lubrication, reducing comebacks.
