Description
Horotec Impulse Detector Horotec Impulse Detector detects and amplifies the impulses given off by the electronic side of a quartz watch. An impulse is represented by flashing diodes and an audible beep for each impulse emitted. Place the non-working watch on the Horotec Impulse Detector, if an impulse is shown and the hands are not moving, then the problem is mechanical.
If no impulse is detected then the problem is electrical. Check the battery, if the battery is dead, replace the battery and repeat the test. This allows the repair shop to better inform the customer as to where the problem exists in their watch and aprox. costs related to the repair. This is a basic, fast and easy diagnostic tool. Operates on a 9-vold battery (included).
